<p>A <a href="n8ahelpnet_service_name.htm">net service name</a> or the actual name of the service that maps to a <a href="n8ahelpconnect_descriptor.htm">connect descriptor</a>. Clients use the connect identifier in their <a href="n8ahelpconnect_string.htm">connect strings</a>, for example:</p>
